There was a time, things were so different then
When my life wasn’t right and I didn’t know You
And I knew that I needed You in my life if I was to break free if I was to start new

I really need for You to know how much I love You
I simply want to thank You for all the things You do
I really can’t express enough what You’ve done for me
I just must do more, only one way I see

I know I can say thanks to You for all the great things that You do
But words are so easy to say
There just has to be some other way
So please just watch me, You will see
I will thank You with my life eternally

So now I know all that You want of me
And it takes a lot more to say thanks in this way
But I’ll live my life showing the world who You are
And by this I’ll say thanks with my life day by day

I really need for You to know how much I love You
I simply want to thank You for all the things You do
I really can’t express enough what You’ve done for me
I just must do more, only one way I see

I know I can say thanks to You for all the great things that You do
But words are so easy to say
There just has to be some other way
So please just watch me, You will see
I will thank You with my life eternally
